2011: Our 8th annual Run for the Kids, was held Sunday, April 17th. Thanks to the motorcycle community and ou fabulous sponsors, we raised $8,500 for the ASDB! The Lions Club served an awesome breakfast and generously donated the proceeds to the ASDB. The kids lined up for motorcycle rides from OPR members. After leaving the hospitality of ASDB, ride participants left on an 80 mile ride over Gates Pass to 1) Hooters on Ina, 2) Shooter's Steakhouse, 3) Kappys, 4) Chuy's Mesquite Grill, and 5) American Legion Post 109 15921 South Houghton Road in Vail. They put a great party on for us and fed the ASDB kids who were able to join us! All the riders had a safe and enjoyable ride.

Prior Years' Rides
2004: Our 1st Run for the Kids allowed us to donate $5,000 to the school, while providing entertainment and prizes for the participating riders.
2005: Our 2nd annual Run for the Kids, in 2005, $10,000.
2006: In 2006, our 3rd annual Run for the Kids produced a
$6,000 donation for the Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind.
2007: Our 4th annual Run for the Kids, held Sunday, April 22nd,
was an overwhelming success. The ASDB kids who were in town came out for motorcycle rides on several OP Riders' bikes
and to interact with the bikers. Unfortunately some of the kids who wanted to enjoy the day in Tucson were at
the braille olympics. This is the first year we made sure that we had all kid-friendly stops. We raised
$5,500 for the School.
2008: Our 5th annual Run for the Kids, was held Sunday,
April 27th. Thanks to the support of the biker community, this was the BEST and BIGGEST ride yet!
We gave motorcycle rides to the kids in the morning, and several of the dorms were open for a walking
poker run. From the school, riders went to 1) the Wagon Wheel Cafe, 2) Shooter's
Steakhouse, 3) Jeff's Pub, 4) Chuy's Mesquite Grill, and 5) Montgomery's Grill and Saloon. All the riders had a safe
and fun time. The ride route was over 70 miles. We raised $10,000 for the kids at the ASDB!
2009: Our 6th annual Run for the Kids, was held Sunday, April 26th. We are proud to say that the ride grew in size and in money raised for the school!
